2009. While living in the south of France for a year, I took a weekend trip in August into the lavender region of Sault, France - just before the lavender harvest. This stone house and field was a stop along the way.

2014 The beautiful courtyard of St. Elizabeth's Episcopal Church in Ridgewood, New Jersey. The sunrise service in front of the stone altar - listening to the morning birds while the sun peaks over the garden's trees - this is a spiritual place in so many ways.

This painting is on the back cover of St. E's cookbook, "After the Grace - food, fellowship & feeding the flock". Available at Bookends bookstore in Ridgewood, NJ.  100% of the proceeds from this book go to community outreach programs.
